  • Most recent Intel ia32 and EM64T chipsets are supported for RAM ECC status.

  • AMD 76x chipset as well as all Opteron / Athlon-64 CPU systems (AMD's 64 bit chips have the memory controller built into the CPU).

  • All PCI based systems are supported for PCI parity error checking.

  • Both PCI parity, and main memory ECC status checking are polled at the moment.

  • Full sysfs API support not yet in mainline kernel (work in progress) - without it you still get useful messages printed to the kernel message buffers.
