Overview of the EDAC Subsystem

The Linux EDAC subsystem aims to tell you about problems with your hardware - problems which your hardware knows about, but which Linux has not previously checked for (incidentally, most other OS don't check for these errors either).

The Linux EDAC subsystem comprises a number of kernel modules and (currently largely hypothetical) user-space utilities.
